Our trip to London

E-mail Imprimir PDF

Dear parents and friends:big

I am writing this email to tell you what we did in our trip to London and how my experience was.

The first day, we took the plane at Zaragoza´s airport at 17:05. One hour and thirty minutes later we arrived at Stansted airport in London. It was very big and there was a lot of security. There, we caught a bus to go with our families.

On Monday we went on a walking tour, in which we saw Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben and more famous monuments. After that we got on the London Eye. There we could see all the city.

cabina_rojaThe next two days we visited the Natural Science Museum or the Globe theatre. In the afternoon we had free time and we could go shopping at Camden Town or Oxford Street or we could buy souvenirs at famous shops like Hamleys, M&M´s or Harrods. On Wednesday at 20:00 we went to a night bus tour to see all the city at night.

On Thursday we went to a walking tour where we saw Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the City Hall and the Shard. Later, we visited Madame Tussauds where we took photos with Brad Pitt, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nadal…This museum was my favourite place.

The last day we visited the British Museum and we learnt a lot of interesting things. After lunch we were at the underground when some classmates got lost. We were very afraid but some minutes later we found them. Later we visited the Harry Potter Station where we took a lot of photos. There was a shop and we bought a lot of Harry Potter things.

My family was very kind and generous with us. They had a little dog. Her name was Ruby and we played with her every night.

During the trip our family gave us a “packed lunch” every day. It had two sandwiches, an apple, some cookies, chips and water. It was delicious! For dinner we had typical English food: fish and chips, pancakes…

I have had a nice time with my friends, I have learnt a lot and I have really enjoyed this trip.
